Tout d'abord elle s'efforce de préciser, un aspect de vue féminin, l. a. «nature essentielle d'Isis», ce qui n'est pas si facile, puisqu'elle est «polymorphe». En utilisant l'ensemble du file, l'A. montre que si, au départ, Isis est surtout celle qui pleure los angeles mort d'Osiris, elle apparaît dans le monde gréco-romain comme l'épouse vivante d'Osiris et los angeles mère dévouée d'Horus et donc comme l. a. «déesse des femmes».
