Methods that assist group members to be more efficient planners are valued for improving the coherency and consistency of decision making. For example, rational planning includes thorough consideration of the physical aspects of face-to-face meetings. Collaboration is enhanced when group members are comfortably seated in well-lighted, temperature-controlled, appropriately furnished and equipped rooms, well protected from the distractions of hour-to-hour organizational life.
